"Haru" (the "App") values your privacy and complies with applicable laws and regulations. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

The App stores the following information only on your device (locally) or in your personal iCloud account:

4. Microphone Usage

The App requests microphone access for the voice journal feature. Recorded audio is transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition and is never transmitted externally.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete all data at any time through Settings > "Delete All Data" within the App. Uninstalling the App will also remove all data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not directly collect personal information from children under 14. The "baby name" entered in the App refers to the prenatal name, entered by a parent/guardian, and is stored only on the device.

7. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect limited information such as device identifiers (IDFA) to serve ads. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy.

You can remove ads through an in-app purchase.

The App does not use any proprietary analytics tools.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. Since the App does not collect or transmit any data to external servers, there is no data held by the developer to disclose or delete.
